Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a checkbox. We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and improving as the site grows.
What we've built in
- Works without JavaScript. Articles and navigation are readable and usable even if scripts don't load — content is never hidden behind animation.
- Respects reduced motion. Our reveal-on-scroll and other animations honour your prefers-reduced-motion setting and switch off when you ask the system to.
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper landmarks, a single
mainregion and a logical heading order so screen-reader users can navigate by structure. - Keyboard and contrast. Interactive elements are reachable by keyboard, and we design for legible type and strong colour contrast.
Known limitations
We're honest about gaps. Some third-party embeds and advertising units are outside our direct control and may not meet the same bar; older articles may use imagery without complete descriptive text. We're addressing these as we find them.
