The facility page said: no closure announcements, facility open as per operating hours. ActiveSG's live gym crowd page showed Pasir Ris ActiveSG Gym at 48% full at 12:35pm that day. A closed gym does not fill to 48%.
The notice on the page looks like a leftover from an earlier closure. If you want certainty on the day, open the crowd page. A gym that shows a percentage is open.

The sport centre sits in the town centre, a short walk from Pasir Ris MRT. ActiveSG notes that the building holds a Green Mark Gold Plus award, with rainwater harvesting for the plants, green walls to cut heat and solar cells on site. None of that changes your workout, but it is a pleasant building to train in.
ActiveSG does not publish an equipment list or a floor size for this gym, so we will not guess. Visit once at the hour you plan to train.

The adult standard rate, for people who are not citizens or permanent residents, is S$3.30.
Singapore citizens aged 65 and above enter ActiveSG gyms and swimming pools free. ActiveSG's help site says no pass is needed: scan your NRIC at the entrance.

The pool next door
Pasir Ris Swimming Complex shares the address. It is a feature pool, which is ActiveSG's term for a complex with slides, wave pools or similar water features.

Feature pool entry is S$1.50 on weekdays and S$2.00 at weekends for an adult citizen or permanent resident. Children and senior citizens pay S$0.80 and S$1.00. Buy a feature pass in the ActiveSG app, because a normal swim pass does not cover this complex.
A weekday gym session plus a swim costs S$4.00. Wednesday is the day that plan fails, so make Wednesday a gym-only day.
When to go
At 12:35pm on a Monday, the gym was at 48%. That is a lunchtime figure, and public gyms get busier after work. Use the crowd page for a live number. It lists every ActiveSG gym, so you can also see whether Tampines or Bedok is quieter before you choose.
