Singapore gym membership prices 2026: the verified price index

Every major Singapore gym's current monthly price, checked against the operator's own page and dated so you know exactly how fresh each number is. Updated monthly, not written once and forgotten.

This is a reference table, not a ranking. If you want our opinion on which of these gyms is actually worth your money, read the best gyms in Singapore for every budget and goal. This page has one job: tell you what ten major Singapore gyms currently charge, where that number came from, and when we last checked it.

Most "cheapest gym Singapore" articles quote a price once and leave it there for years while the gym quietly raises rates or pulls the page. We checked every operator's own pricing or membership page directly on the date above. Where an operator publishes no rate at all, we say so and name the enquiry page we checked instead of guessing a number. Every price below moves with promotions, GST changes and seasonal deals, so treat this as a floor, not a locked-in quote, and always confirm the current offer before you sign anything.

Notes on the numbers

A table this size always hides a few catches. Here is what we found worth flagging while checking each one.

  • 24/7 Fitness's own rates page is currently down. The link the industry has quoted for two years, sg.247.fitness/our-rates/, now redirects straight to the operator's global site with no Singapore pricing shown. We fell back to 24/7 Fitness's own dated content post (20 June 2025), which lists S$98/month on a 12-month plan, S$128 on six months and S$178 on a rolling monthly, consistent with what the chain has quoted since 2024. Treat this figure as the last confirmed number, not a live quote, until the operator's rates page comes back.
  • Anytime Fitness doesn't publish one price. Its official membership page loads pricing per club through a booking widget, so there is no single national rate to fetch. The S$98 to S$158 a month range (heartland versus CBD outlets, roughly 18-month contracts) comes from a dated third-party guide, cross-checked against the same range on two other current sources.
  • SAFRA's cheapest numbers are status-gated. The S$45 a month Platinum rate needs an 18-month SAFRA membership. The S$25 a month post-ORD rate is a flat S$300 for 12 months, open only in the post-ORD window, plus a S$25 admin fee. Miss either condition and you're on the S$70 a month Term rate instead.
  • True Fitness's own site contradicts itself. The S$95/month offer lives on its own landing page with no stated contract length. Its separate online purchase page lists standard packages at S$190 for one month, S$165 a month on a six-month single-club plan, and S$185 a month for six-month all-club access. We could not find anything on the operator's site reconciling the two, so we've listed both rather than picking one.
  • Virgin Active actually runs three tiers, not two. Alongside the entry-level Once-a-Weeker (from S$41/week) and the premium Goal Getter (from S$92/week) sits a middle "Long Termer" tier at S$69 to S$76 a week on a 12 or 24-month commitment, which is where most members likely land.
  • Pure Fitness and MSFIT genuinely publish nothing. Both operators' own enquiry and membership pages, checked directly, show no SGD figure anywhere: only trial offers and "enquire" buttons. That's a real gap in their pricing transparency, not a research shortcut on our part.

Full recommendations, who each gym actually suits and the honest catch on every one of these ten outlets are in the best gyms in Singapore for every budget and goal.

FAQ

How often is this updated?

Monthly, at minimum. We re-check every operator's own pricing page and update the "last verified" date. If a price hasn't moved, the date still moves, because checking and finding no change is still a check.

Why do some prices say "price on request"?

Because that's genuinely all the operator publishes. Pure Fitness and MSFIT keep pricing behind an enquiry form or a phone call. We won't invent a number to fill a cell: we'd rather tell you a row is incomplete than guess.

Are these the prices I'll actually pay?

Probably close, but not guaranteed. Gyms run promotions constantly, GST is sometimes included and sometimes not, and franchise outlets (Anytime Fitness especially) price by location. Use this table to shortlist, then confirm the exact quote with the specific outlet before signing.

How is this different from your best gyms in Singapore guide?

That guide ranks these gyms by value and tells you who each one actually suits. This page just holds the numbers steady and dated. Read the ranking guide for the verdict, and use this page to check whether the price behind that verdict has moved.
